Item Description
This 8 7/8” height x 10 ¼” diameter Hopi polychrome basket from Second Mesa exhibits 4 Crow Mother Masks, who is the mother of all Katcinas, also shown are rain clouds and lightning above and below which will bring up the Hopi’s native corn. Circa 1960. The description and appraisal of value is provided by Terry DeWald, a member of the Antique Tribal Art Dealers Association.
