Item Description

Maine is home to the highest population of moose in the lower 48 states, and moose are also found in large numbers in New Hampshire and Vermont. Moose are fascinating animals, weighing between 800 (female) and 1600 (Male) pounds. Bull Moose have very distinctive antlers which stretch nearly 6 feet from tip to tip, and the moose sheds his antlers every year. Moose calves can grow quickly and outrun a person by the time they are 5 days old. The name "moose" comes from the Algonquin language meaning "twig eater."

If you are fascinated by moose, you will love this collection of high-quality, moose-themed kitchenware. There is a large mixing bowl (5.25 inches high by 8.5 inches in diameter), and a small mixing bowl (4 inches high and 6.5 inches in diameter). Around the bowls are pictures of moose and bears in a wooded setting. The bowls are microwave and dishwasher safe. There are also 2 tea towels with moose designs down the center of each towel, and 2 potholders with matching moose designs.

These moose-themed items would be terrific for a vacation home in Maine, or for decorating your home here while you dream of spending time in the great outdoors.
