Item Description
C&O opened in 1969 as the Cheese & Olive; a Greek deli a few doors from the Venice Pier. In 1992 the Singer family changed the concept to “family-style Italian” as it is today. In 2003 their second location was opened in the famous old “Black Whale” building at 3016 Washington Blvd.
Welcoming, friendly, generous, homey, lighthearted, unpretentious, neighborhood joint: these are the words often used to describe this establishment. Singer says, “We are proud to be the untrendy spot in Venice that has stood the test of time. We are casual, offer great value with generous portions and our famous "killer garlic rolls", baked fresh every 15 minutes and served piping hot at your tableside.
The Singer family ran many Famous LA restaurants since the 1940’s; The Italian Kitchen, Pig and Whistle, Italian Grill and Schwabs Deli to name a few. They also operated restaurants in Chicago in the 1920’s & 1930’s. Food and hospitality is in their DNA.
The winning bidder will receive one $40 gift certiciate to this authentic Italian restautant, located at 3016 W. Washington Blvd. Marina del Rey, CA 90292
