"Welcome to Bear Necessities, where you forget about your worries and your life! A charming rustic cabin located nearby the Cacapon river, the perfect place to bring your friends and family for a weekend!
There are two bedrooms; one has a queen and one has a full-size trundle bed and a bunk bed with two double beds. There is one full bathroom. It has a charming little kitchen, a cozy living room with a wood-burning stove and TV with streaming, and a dining area with seating for four. Perfect any time of the year, this charming cabin is located just a short walk away from the Cacapon River. Bring your fishing poles or a canoe!
With all the amenities that provide the comfort of home with the wild and wonderful nature of West Virginia! Bear Necessities is also only a short drive from Historic Berkeley Springs, WV, America's First Spa! The local town has plenty of local shops, great restaurants, and places to visit!
Ready to enjoy all seasons! Cacapon River community access lot just down the road for swimming, fishing, and canoeing; about a 10-minute walk.
This property is located along a beautiful scenic windy mountainous road that crosses over a low water bridge. If there is significant rain in the forecast we will contact you with a weather update, and provide you with other options for your stay. If the low water bridge floods (usually only occurs every few years on rare occasions) then the exit access point is a treacherous old logging road where all wheel drive is needed."
