Our "We The Future" Contest Winners are an outstanding group of young people who will soon be embarking on an all expense paid trip to Washington, DC! On this trip, they will have the unique opportunity to see the the U.S. Constitution come to life through VIP tours of the U.S. Capitol, National Archives, participating in Constitution Day activities, and much more! 

As Best High School Song Winner, in addition to the mentor trip, Srushti wins a $1,000 scholarship! She will be writing her trip sponsors to let them know what she is learning throughout the trip - reporting to you in real time!

A note from our winner-

Srushti Gubbi is an incredibly talented budding singer with an amazing voice from Michigan. Srushti’s passion for music was first noticed by her parents when she was just a toddler. She would pick up a toy microphone singing in perfect tune memorizing the whole song when she was barely two years old. As she got older, she was encouraged to sing at family gatherings and community events to help her build confidence. Srushti’s powerful voice and passion for music made her parents consider getting their child formal music lessons. Srushti’s determination, regular practice is making her slowly evolve as a wonderful singer.

Srushti has participated and won many singing competitions at National and International levels. She is a winner of National Singing Star Jr., Meri Aawaz Suno America, Cry America Superstar, International Indian Icon, T-Series Singing Star, Music International Grand Prix (Teen), Kentucky Talent Search to name a few of her accolades. Srushti was only eight years old when she made it to the top 12 in the Indian singing reality show. Srushti is also a winner and vocal champion of American Guild of Music.

Srushti has performed the National Anthem at various sporting events including NFL, NBA, MLB, and NHL games. She was honored to perform the US Open Anthem at the large center court of Arthur Ashe Stadium, NY. Srushti has been performing at various community and fundraiser events for domestic violence, underprivileged children and medical research.

Srushti is currently a student of Berklee College of Music pursuing music production engineering. Srushti hopes to use her degree towards an integration of culture, bring the world of music together and provide space to diverse artists to share their heritage, identity and their art.
