Item Description

Here we have a beautiful handcrafted wooden plate made by one of our preschool student's grandfather, a former surgeon turned woodworker in retirement!

This uniquely shaped plate measures about 8 inches in diameter and is made from Cherry wood. It would be great for snacks or on display!

More about TAC Woodworks:

Thomas Anthony Colacchio (TAC) found his love for woodworking in retirement from his career as a general surgeon. Though he had been dabbling with furniture making for years, and has always had a knack for carpentry, it wasn’t until he retired in 2016 that he could really devote his time and energy to this budding passion. In recent years he has gravitated towards turning bowls, which is proving to be his greatest joy yet. As a self taught woodworker, TAC makes exquisite bowls and platters with locally and sustainably sourced woods that would impress even the most seasoned woodturners. All his pieces are food safe and are sure to bring joy to your home, or make an excellent gift for friends and loved ones.
