Specialties
Magics waterfront restaurant opens March 2019. We are creating a relaxed place full of vibrant dishes, refreshing cocktails and a welcoming atmosphere designed to fit naturally into the Kona way of life. We have sought out relationships with Hawaii's most cherished farmers, fishers and growers and we can't wait to share the local flavors and our special culture with you.

History

Established in 2018.

We believe in quality on all levels, especially in our flavors. You'll find our Big Island cuisine seasonal and approachable, with a unique taste of place. With 11 microclimates, the Big Island hosts some of the finest farmers and fishermen who we're proud to partner with and who provide us with the highest quality fruits, vegetables, meats, and fish. Our awe-inspiring view reminds us daily of the bounty the ocean provides us with. Our menu is designed to showcase the pure flavors of Hawaii. We are connected with the heart of the island and take great pride in protecting what makes our home special. We hope you will join our Magics Ohana.

Meet the Business Owner

Mattson D.Business Owner
Having called the Big Island home since March 1997, Mattson purchased the future location of Magics Beach Grill in 2017 to create an energizing gathering place for the North Kona community. They believe personal relationships are the foundation of any great establishment. "When someone comes to Magics, whether they're local or visiting, we want them to feel part of our ohana and develop a connection to the culture," says Mattson.
