A culinary destination, Catboat Coffee Co. features specialty coffee and a Lebanese-inspired menu. We are a grab-and-go spot that is committed to celebrating the island’s maritime history and embracing an equitable future.

Catboat Coffee Co. honors the island’s long and storied history with the iconic New England sailboat! Our family, like Martha’s Vineyard, has its own history with catboats, leading us to where we are today.
According to island shipwrights, catboats are unique to coastal Massachusetts and Long Island. With their shallow draft and their sturdy shape, they could traverse the shoal bays and sounds. They were perfect for inshore fishing, but as the Cape and Islands became a tourist destination, the catboat sailors would stop fishing in the summer and use them for hosting picnics and cocktail parties.
