Take in Lima’s diverse history, ancient artifacts, the Peruvian gastronomic food scene, and the beautiful architecture that Peru has to offer; soak in the start of Machu Picchu’s mythical adventure in the Sacred Valley and Cuzco as you traverse the surrounding communities where you will visit craft markets, feed South American Camels, and interact with local weavers using ancestral techniques. Culminate your adventure with an awe-inspiring climb on Machu Picchu, where you will learn about the fascinating history of the Inca civilization and witness the ancient structures that are nestled on the top.

ITINERARY:

Day 1: Arrival and transfer to boutique Hotel B in Lima.

Day 2: Visit historical and cultural sites in downtown Lima. Cooking class to prepare ceviche and Causa Limena.

Day 3: Fly to Cusco (flight not included), then transfer to the Sacred Valley visiting wildlife, markets, and historical farms along the way. Stay at Aranwa Valley Hotel.

Day 4: Visit Incan ruins, then take a train to Machu Picchu. Stay at Hotel Mapi in Agua Calientes.

Day 5: Tour the most important sites of Machu Picchu, then train back to Cusco. Stay at Aranwa Cusco.

Day 6: Visit markets, temples and other notable sites in Cusco.

Day 7: Depart
