Item Description
Napa Appellations - Wines from Revered Appellations within the Napa Valley - 3 Bottles
Three wines from the stellar 2021 vintage from distinct and revered appellations within the Napa valley.
B Cellars 2021 Chardonnay, Star Vineyard, Rutherford, Napa Valley
Star Vineyard is located in the heart of Rutherford appellation. These deep but well-drained soils are a perfect match for the rare "Wente Clone" Chardonnay vines. This heirloom selection of Chardonnay is famed for its pattern of small and large berries within each bunch, known colloquially as "chicks and hens", and for producing wines with lengthy finishes and the mysterious combination of flavors and mouthfeel called "minerality."
The 2021 B Cellars Star Vineyard Chardonnay has notes of wet gravel, dried orange blossom, toasted hazelnuts, pineapple, dried apricot, lemon zest, poached pear, and baked apple pie. It has a refreshing acidity and a long finish.

PlumpJack Winery 2021 Estate Cabernet Sauvignon, Oakville, Napa Valley
The shortage of rainfall in 2021 led to high-stress growing conditions for our vines. The resulting grapes were small and concentrated, giving us wines with great concentration, intensity, and structure. The nose of the 2021 PlumpJack Estate Cabernet Sauvignon leads with juicy fruits – black cherry, boysenberry, blackberry jam, and muddled mixed berries. The fruit is layered with fresh mint, sage, and iron filings. These aromas are complemented by warming spices, vanilla, and cocoa nib. The palate has a beautiful, velvety texture with plush tannin and an enduring finish with impressions of espresso and dark chocolate.

Varietal: Cabernet Sauvignon
Appellation: Oakville, Napa Valley
Inspired by one of Shakespeare’s most memorable characters, Sir John “PlumpJack” Falstaff, whose fun-loving and down-to-earth disposition was only rivaled by his fierce loyalty to Prince Henry V, with whom he shares more than a few goblets of sack (wine) at the local tavern. We pay allegiance to our world-class vineyard by crafting high-quality wines that honor the land, and we celebrate the convivial spirit of our namesake with their inviting, approachable style.

Pine Ridge Winery 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon, Circle Hill Vineyard, Stags Leap District, Napa Valley
There’s an alpine freshness to the Circle Hill Cabernet Sauvignon, with breezy wafts of boysenberry jam and cherry juice. Delicate green notes of tomato leaf and dried herbs provide a lively contrast to the fruit-forward entry. On the palate, blueberry melds with vanilla cream before a balanced backdrop of well-integrated oak. Additional layers unfurl, revealing notes of raspberry jam, marshmallow and wet cement. Dimpled tannins and a pleasant streak of acidity lend impressive length and structure, characteristic of the revered Circle Hill Vineyard. Built for aging, this Cabernet will develop beautifully over the next 5 to 12 years. When ready to enjoy, pair it with a rustic panzanella salad with lardons for a perfect complement.
