Bring your friends to Irish Rep's newly-announced production of The Weir by Conor McPherson! You and up to seven guests are invited to see the show on Irish Rep's Mainstage before enjoying a private reception with whiskey in the Irish Repertory Theatre's rehearsal room with the cast of the show.
In a remote country pub in Ireland, newcomer Valerie finds herself drawn into an evening of ghost stories shared by the local bachelors who gather there to drink. With the wind howling outside and a hint of tension in the air, what begins as playful blarney soon drifts into the supernatural realm when Valerie shares her own haunting tale.
The Weir runs from July 9 through August 31, 2025, and stars Dan Butler, Sean Gormley, Johnny Hopkins, John Keating, and Sarah Street. It is directed by Ciarán O'Reilly.
