Loganberry Books is an independently owned & operated bookstore in the historic Larchmere neighborhood of Cleveland, Ohio. Established in 1994, we feature a carefully curated collection of new, used & rare books in all genres for both readers and collectors, with an inventory of over 100,000 volumes (give or take - we're still counting!). Browse our shelves, check out our event calendar, sign up for our monthly email news, order a book, or learn about our history. If it isn't listed on our (imperfect, homegrown) online store, we have affiliate sites that can help you order almost any book in print, eBooks, or audiobooks (see links below). Or just give us a jingle (phone/email) or come by and see us! Please see our directions page for accessibility info.

Submit your memory here, and see if anyone else remembers your book memory, or better yet, knows the title and author! After all, it’s easier to find the book when you know what it’s called. In Memoriam

Otis 2008-2024

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our beloved shop cat, Otis. He found us as a loud, scrawny kitten, enjoyed exploring all reaches of the store, greeted customers with cordial aplomb, loved children and enjoyed joining them in play. In short, he was a feline bookseller nonpareil. He made national news when he retired in 2022.

He died 04/07/2024 from complications of diabetes/pancreatitis/kidney failure, and he will be missed by so many.

Thank you to everyone who has taken the time to pass along condolences, memories of Otis, and donated to the Book Industry Charitable Foundation (BINC).

BINC is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to assisting booksellers in need. The foundation grew out of a wish of bookstore employees to establish a fund to help their colleagues experiencing unexpected financial crises.

June prompt: #SummerAdventures

Summer adventures are fun, relaxing, and sometimes just a little bit pricey. This month, choose #SummerAdventures that broaden your horizon and fit your budget. Find a book about a journey or other adventure (Mountain climbing? Circumnavigation? Urban walking? Bicycling in foreign lands? Sure!) Bonus points for an adventure you yourself would never undertake but would like to know more about! Find the book that fits the prompt and share it using our hashtags!

And in person, we've got Storytime for Toddlers, For The Thrill of Lit, Magical Realism, and Rebel Readers! Plus, the ongoing Murmurations club at Abide Yoga down the block. And the the Democracy Book Club will be back on Thursday afternoons!
