Diablo Ballet is Contra Costa County's first professional, award-winning dance company; whose world-class dancers have performed throughout the U.S., Europe, and South America. Its ballet school, which launched in August 2019, is the first in the history of Contra Costa County operated by a professional ballet company.
In addition, the school offers weekly Dance for Parkinson's classes free of charge for Parkinson's patients and their caregivers due to the generosity the Parkinson's Foundation.
Diablo Ballet is committed to serving youth through its engaging arts education initiatives in Title-I (underserved) schools in the East Bay. Diablo Ballet has reached more than 70,000 elementary school students since 1995 with its interactive Performing Arts Education & Enrichment for Kids (PEEK) Program. In addition, PEEK serves teens incarcerated in Juvenile Hall in Martinez.

This lively event lets you meet and mingle with the Diablo Ballet dancers, following their 29th Anniversary performance at Walnut Creek's Lesher Center for the Arts. The Gala offers wine-tasting, live music, and a sensational dinner at the charming The Garden Walnut Creek, walking distance from the Lesher Center.
