Silent Auction is NOW CLOSED!
As of March 9, 2024, Friendship Bridge's silent auction is now closed! Thank you for participating!
About the 2024 Building Bridges Gala
On March 9, 2024, our supporters had the opportunity to savor a night at home while supporting the Friendship Bridge's mission at our Stay-At-Home Building Bridges Gala! At this special annual event, they watched new video content about our programs and clients and received exclusive handmade artisan items.
2024's gala was themed Pathways of Her Heart for the 2024 International Women?s Day focus on inspiring inclusion. With this theme, we celebrated Friendship Bridge?s clients, whose role as empowered women make them powerful torchbearers by paving inclusive paths for women and future generations.
By attending our gala, you're supporting Friendship Bridge and our mission to create opportunities that empower Guatemalan women to build a better life through microcredit, health services, and education.
About Friendship Bridge
Friendship Bridge is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit social enterprise with a mission to create opportunities that empower Guatemalan women to build a better life. Established in 1990 and headquartered in Lakewood, Colorado, Friendship Bridge operates 12 branch offices in Guatemala and provides a suite of products and services including microcredit, Non-Formal Education, and access to culturally-appropriate healthcare.
Clients are 100% women, primarily indigenous Maya, and live in rural communities with some of the highest poverty levels worldwide. Annually, Friendship Bridge supports over 30,000 women and through our programming, we are changing how clients see, respond to, and overcome the protracted issues of poverty for themselves, their families, and their communities.
