The 2019 Rock School Benefit Auction will continue at the live event on Friday, May 10th at the Kimmel Center.
Thank you all for taking the time to bid in advance and support The Rock School and funding for over $700,000 in scholarships for our exceptionally talented dancers from around the world, aid in programing at both Rock Center and Rock West, and allow us to expand RockReach, the most extensive dance and movement community outreach program in the region!
Bid winners will be announced by Wednesday, May 22, 2019.

The Rock School will join the Curtis Institute of Music for the 11th year of a world-premiere, live performance on stage, followed by a delectable, Cuban-inspired dining experience. Honoring the world-renowned Rock School Students at the Kimmel Center.
The Rock School/Curtis Institute of Music collaboration is a partnership envisioned over a decade ago by the late Dr. Milton L. Rock, joining the superior talents of two world-renowned cultural institutions, right here in Philadelphia.
The evening will begin with a lavish cocktail hour and silent auction set high above Broad Street with grand views of the Avenue of the Arts from the Kimmel Center’s balcony and mezzanine. The world-premiere performance will be unveiled in the Kimmel Center’s Perelman Theater–featuring an original Rock School ballet set to a never before heard score composed by The Curtis Institute's composer Elise Arancio, choreographed by alumni/Resident Choreographer & Associate Director, Justin Allen–and performed live by Rock School dancers with a Curtis Institute ensemble. Gala performances include vignettes from our international dancers. A delectable, Cuban inspired, dining experience and live auction under the stars in the Kimmel’s expansive Commonwealth Plaza will be enlivened by the music of Conjunto and the ambiance of Havana Nights.
