The Civilians 2019 Spring Benefit: Civilian Disobedience

At the 2019 Spring Benefit: Civilian Disobedience, The Civilians, a not-for-profit Off Broadway theater company, will present The Civilian of the Year Award to three individuals that help us see the present moment more clearly and steer us towards a more just society. This year's honorees include Annie Sundberg, Ricki Stern, and Marion Friedman Young.
The evening's original, one-night-only performance program will include special guests: Cicily Daniels, Rachel Dratch, Clifton Duncan, Ashley Peréz Flanagan, Daphne Rubin-Vega and Maya Sharpe; original songs created for the event by Nick Blaemire, The Bengsons, Maggie-Kate Coleman, Erato Kremmyda, Stephen Trask as well as songs from the 2018-2019 season by Michael R. Jackson and Zach Zadeck.
