Court Appointed Special Advocates – CASA provides specially-trained court-appointed volunteers who advocate for the well being of Baltimore County’s abused and neglected children who are caught in foster home limbo while parental and custodial issues are worked out in the lengthy court proceedings.  http://www.casabaltco.org/

Elk Hill – Elk Hill provides at-risk children the opportunity to turn their lives around through learning, counseling, and play.  Elk Hill programs include residential programs, group homes, schools, summer camps, and counseling for children and families.  http://elkhill.com/ 

Partners In Care Maryland – Partners in Care is a nonprofit committed to helping older adults remain safely in their homes and engaged in their communities.  They provide transportation, home repairs, emergency kits, resource advocacy and much more.   http://www.partnersincare.org/

Silent Auction Procedures

Unless otherwise stated, bidding closes at 2:00 pm EST on August 19, 2011. All bids must be placed online. In order to place a bid, you must register and provide credit card information. (American Express, Discover, MasterCard or Visa accepted.) Site is secure and personal information is protected. Your credit card will only be charged if you are the high bidder at the close of the bidding for that particular auction item.

Terms of Sale

To the extent possible (in person in the RCM&D Towson office on 08/19/11 or via online photo and description), prospective bidders should inspect property before bidding. All sales are final and all property is sold “as is”. The Regatta Committee makes no warranties either expressed or implied. No exchanges or refunds will be honored unless specifically indicated.

Values listed are intended as a guide for prospective purchasers and are not warranted by the Committee for tax purposes or for competitive market values. Certain auction items may have restrictive use or other qualifications, which may affect value, applications, or use thereof to the bidder. All bids, once made, cannot be withdrawn unless superseded by a higher bid. The highest bidder shall be the purchaser.

Auction items will be distributed after receipt of payment. Pickup of purchased items must be arranged with your RCM&D representative at any of the 7 RCM&D Office locations. Auction items will be shipped only upon special request at the expense of the purchaser.
