When Ivymount professional educators, therapists and specialists teach their students, they don’t focus on the student’s challenges. Instead, they see a child with the magic of his or her own potential to learn, grow and succeed. This is precisely why “Seeing the Star in Every Child” is our 2008 theme.

Thanks to the extraordinary educational and therapeutic support received at Ivymount, some of Ivymount’s “stars” learn to speak, others to walk--or read--or ride a bike or explore their gift for painting…just like their typically-developing counterparts.
